We have some exciting news to share with you all this month. The TCRN is offering a number of funding opportunities including PhD top-ups and the Cancer Challenge of the Year funding ($150,000).
We are pleased to announce the recipients of the last round of TCRN PhD Scholarship Top-Up awards and we profile Frances Byrne who was the recipient of a TCRN Travel Grant.

2017 R2 Conference & Professional Development Grant Recipient: Frances Byrne
Frances Byrne has recently attended the Immunometabolism and Chronic Disease (IMCD) Conference as part of her professional development in order to present her poster, share insights and collaborate with others her field.

The TCRN has one full registration for the upcoming Australian Society for Medical Research (ASMR) 56th National Scientific Conference on the 14th and 15th of November. Anyone who is interested in attending should contact the TCRN providing a brief explanation of why they should attend (150 words max) by Monday 30th October tcrn@unsw.edu.au.

The TCRN is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2017 PhD Scholarship Top-Up Awards to Yuan-Yin Chen, Ashleigh Lester and Govardhan Anande from UNSW.
In this monthly article the TCRN Operations & Projects team use on-line tools to identify publications attributed to TCRN members. We are using Scopus, the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature as our primary source.
This month the various articles span the full translational pipeline from bench to bedside and beyond.
