Data-Driven Change Conference

The Cancer Implementation Science Community of Practice will host the 2017 Cancer Health Data Conference; 'Flipping The Record - Using Clinical Data to Transform Cancer Care', the first of its kind in NSW and looks to bring together innovative ideas in how we use health data to support care and research and foster collaboration.

The conference is open to clinicians, managers, data scientists and researchers.

Present your health data project at the conference by submitting your abstract now!

Program:
The conference will address topic areas including:  

  • Improving data quality and collection processes,
  • Linking data to practice and service delivery,
  • Montitoring the use of data in monitoring of care and outcomes and professional development, and
  • Use of data in governance and reporting.

Featuring:

  • Keynote presentations from Cancer Centre leadership and International guest experts, 
  • Rapid fire presentation sessions of selected abstracts featuring local examples of data usage in healthcare, 
  • Group discussions and expert panel debates around key hot topics
  • Optional post-conference networking

Invitation: Submit an abstract
Submit an abstract now to deliver a 5-minute rapid fire presentation showcasing your work in applying data technology in improving cancer care delivery. 

Topic areas include:

  1. Improving data quality and collection processes
  2. Linking data to practice and service delivery
  3. Use data in monitoring of care and outcomes and professional development
  4. Use of data in governance and reporting

Instructions:

  • Include in your abstract 1) the problem addressed and aim of work, 2) solution delivered, and 3) the outcome.
  • Presentation will comprise no more than 3 slides and be 5 minutes in duration.
  • Email your abstract to charlotte.pointeaux@sydney.edu.au by 12 May 2017.
  • Successful abstracts will be confirmed by email by 5 June 2017.
  • Final presentations will be required ahead of the Conference.
