Application deadline: 3.00pm Tuesday 29 April 2014

The TCRN is offering its members an opportunity to attend the 2014 World Cancer Congress ‘Joining Forces – Accelerating Progress’ as a once off Professional Development grant.

The key objective of the 2014 World Cancer Congress is to equip participants with the necessary tools that will enable them to make a difference, implement and take actions at all levels of cancer control. This aligns with the TCRN’s effort to expand and enhance the knowledge and skills in translational cancer-related research or cancer care service delivery of the TCRN members.

The TCRN will fund up to eight individual members.  Successful applicants will receive free registration to the 2014 World Cancer Congress as well as funding of up to $700 for travel and accommodation.

Master Courses

The Congress will provide a unique educational opportunity and includes thirteen different Master Courses delivered by distance learning over six months that will culminate in one day workshop in Melbourne during the Congress.

The 2014 World Cancer Congress marks the first edition where submissions are open not only for scientific studies, but also practice policy, advocacy reports and fundraising reports.
