Cancer is the second leading cause of death worldwide. Together, we will change that.

World Cancer Day is an international day marked on 4 February to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection and treatment.

This World Cancer Day, in collaboration with the SPHERE Cancer CAG and CONCERT, we are hosting a seminar at the Ingham Institute of Medical Research to showcase collaboration and research in the area of cancers with poor outcomes.

Live streaming will be available at https://swsydunsw.zoom.us/j/761947750 from 12.00pm - 1.15pm.

In addition to this, we would like to gather as many of our members for a photo on Wednesday 30 January at 10.30am in the Lowy Cancer Research Centre (Level 4) which we will share on social media on World Cancer Day. If you are free and would like to take part, please come along. If you can’t make it along but want to take part, send us your group photos and we will share on our social media. Please see the World Cancer Day website for ideas https://www.worldcancerday.org/.
