One of the exciting projects in our Gynaecological Cancer Research Group at the Adult Cancer Program (Lowy Cancer Research Centre, Faculty of Medicine, UNSW Sydney) is the development of a blood-based population screening test to detect ovarian cancer early. The test aims to detect differences in the DNA circulating in the blood between healthy controls and ovarian cancer patients.
