The TCRN has recently been awarded $80K of funding from the Australian National Data Service ("ANDS") for a Major Open Data Collections Project to make a colorectal cancer cohort (the MCO study tumoour collection (Molecular and Cellular Oncology)) publicly available via a web-based query tool; TranSMART.

TCRN will adopt TranSMART translational bioinformatics platform. TranSMART will allow researchers and public end-users to query and analyse de-identified, aggregate-level data within various linked datasets. It will be housed within a purpose-built UNSW secure hosting environment already built as part of a previous TCRN project.
